The Corps have just gotten back from a recent expedition, tired. Most of the soldiers have already gone to the showers to clean up and get ready to sleep, some already had a wave of slumber crash over them, not even bothering to clean themselves up.
Very few, however, were making sure the horses were in a decent condition, grooming and feeding them, cleaning their stalls.
A whinny was heard outside of the stables, along with a loud sigh. Two superiors were awake, walking the horses as the few others had gone to get washed up.
"So, Captain. I was wondering, when this is all over, if you'd want to, maybe hang out sometime?" The blonde had asked, her face ablaze. A small bead of sweat had run down her cheek due to the tsunamis of nervousness crashing into her.
The male replied with only a hum, his cheeks painted with a slight pink, barely seen under the moonlight.
"And, uh. Maybe even live in a small, cozy cottage outside the walls. Maybe even on a hill?" The squad leader broke her gaze with the captain, letting out a nervous laugh as she patted her horse's snout, earning a nuzzle to the cheek.
